Zoom off, zoo on!
I’ll start with a joke “man walks into a zoo, there’s only one animal in the entire zoo which is a dog, it’s a Shih Tzu” 🤣 Fortunately, Amsterdam’s Zoo (Artis) has a wide variety of animals and having not been to a zoo in over a decade, I was as excited as a fox in a hen house. A friend, who I had not seen in several years, was visiting from Dubai and it turned out to be a really great day out that started with a boozy brunch at Box Sociaal and ended with a great dinner and drinks at the Vegan Junk Food Bar. We got to the zoo at feeding time which made for an extra special visit to hang out with the lions, monkeys, elephants, giraffes, birds, reptiles and more. Animals from all over the world were there and of course, I couldn’t leave my camera at home!
