Galápagos Islands (Part I)
Heaven on earth!
On New Year’s Day 2022, after a 2 year delay because of Covid, we made it on our way to tick off a bucket list trip to the enchanting Galápagos Islands off the coast of Ecuador. After nearly 48 hours of travelling and 4 flights we made it! Living up to expectations is an understatement. As a nature lover, never have I been to such an extraordinary place where the animals are truly at peace, have no fear at all and casually go by their daily business with no stress. The birds, sea lions, iguanas, tortoises, sharks, dolphins and the incredible people made this trip one that I will never forget. On this album we spend our time on the island of San Cristóbal and Santa Cruz swimming with sea lions and sharks as you can see in this teaser video, visiting the famous Kicker Rock (León Dormido) and Bartolomé Island - amongst other magical memories.
