When I was leaving university, I always wanted to join one of the big consulting companies. I’m so f@*king happy that I didn’t “fit” what they were looking for as I had an entrepreneurial bug that would have been wasted. After many varied roles from being a waiter at 13, night club manager and retail jobs in university (paying my own way through), selling cars and properties, spearheading climate change back in 2010, recruitment, and staring my own company with a friend - I got my break into tech with a company called Apigee a decade ago in 2011, helping push them to IPO and a Google acquisition. Since then I haven’t been able to get rid of wanting to build and evangelise cool tech to all the four corners of the world! Having contributed to the success of several successful scale-ups, I picked up some crazy mad skillz in sales, leadership, business development, solution engineering, marketing, customer success and partner management. This blog is an online diary of my professional shenanigans.
