Movie night π₯
Anyone know me, knowβs Iβm a bit of a geek π€
I love my tech and I love building things π·π»ββοΈ
So when we moved into our new place earlier this year I had big ambitions πͺ
Slowly I have been adding to the living experience π‘
The latest additionβ¦ THE CINEWALL π₯
Powered by none other than LG and Philips Hueπ‘
When I was at Apigee (now Google) over a decade ago, I was proud to help Philips Hue on their API strategy very early on and so happy to see how they have developed and the incredible quality of their products π
Also amazing to watch how their Developer Strategy was executed flawlessly π¨π»βπ»
So itβs only natural that the new apartment has been kitted out with them and itβs truly AWESOME π
The CineWall has a 77β LG C2 and full on surround sound system (sounds way better than on the video) π
On the TV is a Philips Hue Sync Box with a gradient light strip and you can just see a small part of my rail system above which currently has two lights pointing at the wall β‘οΈ
It took some work as we also needed to build a wall too because of an annoying pillar π
But after some DIY, the CineWall became a reality π₯³
Next step is a floating stand below TV and a custom bookshelf unit on the left that will also have a small aquarium π
Check it out ππΌ
