Movie night πŸŽ₯

Anyone know me, know’s I’m a bit of a geek πŸ€“

I love my tech and I love building things πŸ‘·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

So when we moved into our new place earlier this year I had big ambitions πŸͺœ

Slowly I have been adding to the living experience 🏑

The latest addition… THE CINEWALL πŸŽ₯

Powered by none other than LG and Philips HueπŸ’‘

When I was at Apigee (now Google) over a decade ago, I was proud to help Philips Hue on their API strategy very early on and so happy to see how they have developed and the incredible quality of their products πŸš€

Also amazing to watch how their Developer Strategy was executed flawlessly πŸ‘¨πŸ»β€πŸ’»

So it’s only natural that the new apartment has been kitted out with them and it’s truly AWESOME 😍

The CineWall has a 77” LG C2 and full on surround sound system (sounds way better than on the video) πŸ”Š

On the TV is a Philips Hue Sync Box with a gradient light strip and you can just see a small part of my rail system above which currently has two lights pointing at the wall ⚑️

It took some work as we also needed to build a wall too because of an annoying pillar πŸ˜’

But after some DIY, the CineWall became a reality πŸ₯³

Next step is a floating stand below TV and a custom bookshelf unit on the left that will also have a small aquarium 🐠

Check it out πŸ‘‡πŸΌ
