Movie night ๐ฅ
Anyone know me, knowโs Iโm a bit of a geek ๐ค
I love my tech and I love building things ๐ท๐ปโโ๏ธ
So when we moved into our new place earlier this year I had big ambitions ๐ช
Slowly I have been adding to the living experience ๐ก
The latest additionโฆ THE CINEWALL ๐ฅ
Powered by none other than LG and Philips Hue๐ก
When I was at Apigee (now Google) over a decade ago, I was proud to help Philips Hue on their API strategy very early on and so happy to see how they have developed and the incredible quality of their products ๐
Also amazing to watch how their Developer Strategy was executed flawlessly ๐จ๐ปโ๐ป
So itโs only natural that the new apartment has been kitted out with them and itโs truly AWESOME ๐
The CineWall has a 77โ LG C2 and full on surround sound system (sounds way better than on the video) ๐
On the TV is a Philips Hue Sync Box with a gradient light strip and you can just see a small part of my rail system above which currently has two lights pointing at the wall โก๏ธ
It took some work as we also needed to build a wall too because of an annoying pillar ๐
But after some DIY, the CineWall became a reality ๐ฅณ
Next step is a floating stand below TV and a custom bookshelf unit on the left that will also have a small aquarium ๐
Check it out ๐๐ผ
